We love jewellery as much as any other woman, so when we were approached by Tiffany and Co. to become the boutique sponsor of their Evening of American Glamour event, we were thrilled!
Co-hosted by The Robb Report and set in the beautiful art-deco surroundings of the Divine Wine Society at Parkview Square, the evening was a memorable homage to the 1920s. Tiffany was displaying iconic pieces used in the recent Great Gatsby movie, such as the diamond and pearl hand ornament worn by lead actress Carey Mulligan, as well as jewels from their current collection, inspired by their 1920s archives.
The highlight of the evening for us was the runway. Eight beautiful models wore a selection of our Jenny Packham and Monique Lhuillier bridal and evening designs. It was wonderful to see our dresses come to life, and very exciting to witness the versatility of these pieces. Smoky eyes and bright lipstick and suddenly any bridal gown is a chic evening dress.
We had a wonderful evening being transported back to the 1920s but even more so, witnessing how an elegant design can stand the test of time.
